Blue Collar, Not Billionaires.
We are rural working people uniting to win the future we deserve.
We work hard: we’re up before sunrise and long after sundown. We pay our bills. We cook, we clean, we take care of our kids and our parents. But billionaires and giant corporations have rigged the system. Each year they get richer while we struggle harder.
We see a different future—and we know that by coming together, we can win it.
Our Vision
It shouldn’t be this hard to get by in rural WA. So we have a choice. We can try to tough it out alone and cross our fingers things will get better, or we can do something about it: come together, because only together can we fight back.
We’re fighting for good jobs, lower housing costs, healthy homes, affordable healthcare and childcare, and more. We have a vision for The Good Life in Rural WA—see for yourself:
Who We Are
We are working people in rural and small town Washington: mill workers, veterans, nurses, cannery workers, loggers, childcare providers, grocery workers, cooks. We are parents, students, and retirees. We are renters, homeowners, and mobile homeowners. We’re joining together to win a better future in rural & small-town WA.
You + Firelands
Billionaires and giant corporations buy political power to get rich and keep us struggling. But there are only a few of them – and a whole lot of us! If we come together across race and division, we can shift the balance of power.
So far, we’ve won limits on rent increases, created new taxes on Wall Street mega-millionaires to fund schools and childcare, and helped elect candidates who truly stand up for the working class .
It’ll take all of us to win the future we deserve. We are how we win.
